Imperial College Research Fellowships 2024

Application for Imperial College Research Fellowship Scheme (ICRF) for the year 2024 is now open for UK and International citizenship. Here in this post you will get the details of the Imperial College Research Fellowships 2024.

The program is intended for exceptional early-career scholars who want to transition from post-doctoral research to a permanent lectureship while concentrating on their work and gaining scientific independence. 

Candidates are expected to have no more than four years of post-doctoral research experience. Extensions to this time period will be considered in circumstances that support our commitment to diversity, a positive research culture and non-traditional career paths.  

Benefits of the Fellowship

As an ICRF you will receive a four-year fellowship which includes 

  • A competitive salary
  • A contribution toward research and travel costs (up to £45,000)
  • Personal mentoring support from a senior Imperial member of academic staff (sponsor)
  • Focused career support, training courses and development opportunities from the College’s Postdoc and Fellows Development Centre 
  • The chance to take full responsibility for setting and directing your own research agenda and career trajectory, with no obligatory teaching, and with the possibility of spending up to twelve months visiting other research institutions and/or in industry.

Duration of the Funding.

The funding will be for four Years(fixed)

Who can Apply?

  • The applicant  can be form the UK nationals or international candidates.
  • The Candidates must have not more than four years of post-doctoral research experience.
  • The PhD must be awarded before the start of the fellowship

In order to guarantee the diversity of the applicants, they invite submissions from a wide range of backgrounds, with a special emphasis on those from traditional underrepresented groups.

Deadline of the application.

All applicants must submit their application to the committee before 4pm, 12 July 2024.

Applicants needs to submit their CV and a short summary of proposed project, including a career development plan, and a letter of support from your sponsor to the Departmental Research and Fellowships Committee for review and consideration against the current departmental activities and priorities.
